About Mari
My name is Mari — short for Marium.
For most of my life I was told to keep my intuition hidden. To be quieter. To fit into a mold that was never made for me. Creativity became my survival, from childhood I have always been making something. A drawing, a poem, a painting, a world inside my mind.
I am a Pakistani-American artist, writer, and intuitive. I have spent over eight years studying tarot, sacred geometry, color, and spiritual practice. I paint with observation. I write with intuition. I have created three original oracle decks launcing soon. I pay deep attention to the living world.
I live with multiple chronic illnesses. I know what it means to fight for your life quietly, to keep creating when your body says stop, to build something beautiful from a place of deep pain.
Art of Intuition is my answer to all of it.
I want to give you back what may have been taken from you. Your intuition, your creativity, your power, your sense of wonder. Through art, writing, books, oracle pulls, slow living and nervous system regulating practices. I am learning to live differently. I want you to come with me.

THE ART OF INTUITION NEWSPAPER
My father used to leave me a newspaper every morning when we first arrived in this country to help me learn English. I would sit cross legged on the living room floor, smell the cardamom from his tea still on the pages, and read every word.
That little girl grew up and made her own newspaper.
The Art of Intuition is a monthly 16 page broadsheet newspaper delivered to your door. Each issue is a ritual filled with art, poetry, books, oracle pulls, horoscopes, journaling prompts, nervous system regulating practices, ocean conservation, slow living and whimsical activities.
It is for those of us who want to come back to ourselves. Who want to slow down, wonder, create and regulate together. Who believe that a newspaper held in your hands, read slowly with a cup of tea, can change the energy of an entire day.
Our nervous systems run our lives. When we regulate, when we return to analog living, to creativity, to quiet observation — everything shifts.
This is what The Art of Intuition is for. A monthly reset. A return. A reminder that you are not alone in your loud world.

Water has always been my calm. My reset. My reminder that something vast and ancient exists beyond my pain and my worries. My wedding ring is aquamarine the stone of the sea, of clarity, of calm waters, its an amazing feeling how the ocean always finds me.
The ocean covers 71% of our earth and we have explored less than 20% of it. It is the greatest quiet observer of all. It is ancient, deep, holding more than we will ever fully know. It deserves our protection.
I also give back to art and writing education because of my mother.
My mother was illiterate. She never had the opportunity to learn to read or write. I watched her navigate a world built on words without the tools to access them. I watched her find her own language anyway — through her hands, through cooking, through the way she arranged a room or dressed for a special occasion. She was creative in ways nobody taught her to be.
Art and writing should not be privileges. Every child deserves access to creativity — to a paintbrush, to a blank page, to someone who tells them their voice matters.
